This racket is a Winex 'Own Design' and therefore does not have a corresponding Yonex model to compare against. This is a great value racket. Most rackets at this price are either aluminium or part graphite part steel/aluminium etc. We are offering this FULL graphite racket at this great price to introduce players to Winex and the benefits of playing with modern advanced materials. This is a great value racket. It has a simple Silver and Blue colour scheme with a very high quality gloss. It does not have the liveliness of our more expensive rackets, but when asked to guess the price, players think that it could cost about £35. That's a good measure of the quality this racket exudes for the price. The frame is the Isometric design as in most modern rackets. The frame and shaft are both Hi-Modulus Carbon Graphite, which is stronger and stiffer than normal graphite budget rackets. The shaft length is standard and the grip size is G3, which is the standard grip size that most rackets are sold with, and feels comfortable to hold. The racket weight is 3U, which is 85-89g range. It is strung with Winex Ti-80 string at 18-20lb. This racket is aimed at improvers, club players and social badminton players who would like a capable racket for their enjoyment of our great sport without the price tag. It would also be ideal as a spare racket for when strings break or when you don't want to take your expensive racket on court with beginners who have a tendancy to have regular racket 'clashes'! Whilst this is a basic racket, the finish is top quality and it would be a lovely gift to someone who may not have a racket or has been using a heavy steel or aluminium racket in the past.
