This racket is a Winex 'Own Design' and therefore does not have a corresponding Yonex model to compare against. This is probably the best value Winex racket in the range at present. A chance to have a Ti-Mesh enhanced racket for under £30! The frame is the Classic 'egg-shape' frame, which is still favoured by many players. The frame construction is Hi-Modulus Carbon Graphite with the added feature of Titanium Mesh at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions. Titanium offers an incredible Strength:Weight Ratio and adds weight and stability to the head in the right position for increased hitting power without added vibration or loss of accuracy. The shaft length is standard and the grip size is G3, which most rackets are sold with, and feels very comfortable to hold. The racket weight is 3U, which is 85-89g range. It is strung with Winex Ti-80 string at 18-20lb. The racket is very well balanced and the titanium in the frame gives it a very small head heavy bias, but we still consider it a neutrally balanced racket in badminton terms. It is a very versatile racket and does not need to be worked hard to generate power, and is also ideal in those defensive situations where you need to flick the racket around quickly. This is a very popular racket with intermediate adults and advanced junior players looking for a serious racket at a great price and from our experience it is ideally suited to doubles where it seems most at home.
